Create Like No One's Watching

Europe, sweet Europe… Memories of the last workshops in 2018 in Malta (THU) and Menorca (Menorca Pulsar) are still fresh, yet Jeremy Mann and I are already planning to bring our Bootcamp to Tuscany.

4-10th of September - Art Escape Italy, it’s happening! I get happy tickles when thinking of the land of Chianti (yum) and Vinci (Leonardo’s birthplace) and all the inspiring things that will boost the creative experience that the Bootcamp is. It will be an intense dawn to dusk workshop filled with drawing, painting, theorizing, philosophizing and creating like no one’s watching! The enrollment has just opened. See you there?

Meanwhile I continue working on my upcoming shows with Haven Gallery - Market Art + Design at The Bridgehampton Museum and solo show Pins & Petals in Northport, Long Island, NY. Here is a new creation from the new finished body of work.

And this one is a smaller piece - there is something visceral and fascinating about broken watermelons and ripped pomegranates.

Also, here is a photo note of the cabinet of deep sea curiosities I stumbled upon last week at the Oakland Museum of California. It has a great natural history section with plenty of critters to study and wonder about.
